After the meetings of 2011, 2012 and 2013 that takes place in Cayenne, the annual meeting of the Labex CEBA will takes place this year on the 13th and 14th of october 2014 in the Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle de Toulouse.
This meeting, with world-class speakers from the USA, Belgium and Switzerland, will be an important moment in the life of the Labex CEBA. Held exceptionally in Toulouse this year, it is an opportunity to mobilize the scientific community around biodiversity research issues in French Guiana and the ongoing work of the CEBA on Guyanese territory.
– First day, thematic sessions will focus on Tropical biodiscovery, Chemistry of natural products and Acess and Benefit Sharing procedures for French Guiana biodiversity. An evening event in collaboration with Museum de Toulouse on the Strategy of FRB for tropical diversity research is planned.
– Second day, will be dedicated to Human health and biodiversity, CEBA infrastructure and Biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.
These presentations will be followed by a round table: The future of CEBA
