Interview of a CEBA researcher in a monthly review of EDF

Bruno Hérault, CIRAD researcher at the UMR EcoFOG, was interviewed for the Journal of Social Activities of Energy, a monthly review of EDF.

Forêt Amazonienne, Guyane.

The interview concerned the study of the impact of climate change on tropical forests. It was in the context of the researcher’s participation at the COP 21 in Paris. During the interview, Bruno Hérault highlighted the great biodiversity of the Amazonian forest in French Guiana and the fact that this biodiversity is subject to the effects of climate change, land use and forest management.

His research work focuses on the ecosystem functioning through the growth and mortality of trees. These two processes are found impacted by global change due to an increase in human activities. See the full interview via this link.
