The Labex CEBA launched its 2004 annual call for proposals since December 9th, 2013, with a submission deadline on January 24th, 2014.
More details on the submission are available on the webpage dedicated to the CEBA annual call for proposals.
Each year, the Labex CEBA opens an annual competitive call for proposals to encourage innovative research on biodiversity in French Guiana. Projects will be evaluated by the Scientific Board and by external referees.
Since its creation in 2011, the CEBA funded 37 projects within these annual calls for proposals: 17 in 2012 and 22 in 2013.
The themes of these projects are within the research scope of the CEBA (Amazonian terrestrial biodiversity) and are diverse: they include many subjects from the study of the yet little-known fungi diversity in French Guiana to the study of the domestic and peri-domestic transmission of salmonella in French Guiana, as well as the analysis of the evolution of chemical defenses of amphibiens (Trachycephalus genus) and an integrated approach for the rationalization of medicinal plant uses in French Guiana in order to fight parasitic diseases.
