The Nouragues’ call for proposals 2017 is open until the 10th of February 2017.
This call for proposals aims at facilitating the access to the Nouragues Research Station for researchers from all disciplines. It is also open to doctoral and post-doctoral students.
The submitted proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Council of the station. The excellence, the quality of the expected publications and the feasibility of the projects will be taken into account during the evaluation. Funding will not exceed 10 000€ and will be valid for one year. The selected projects must provide a scientific and financial report one month after the fieldwork is over. The grant recipients will also have to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in French Guiana through outreach programs of the Nouragues Natural Reserves.
In 2017, experimental projects and projects related to the COPAS (Canopy Operational Permanent Access System) will be considered in priority.
