January 5-7, 2021 – Conference AllEnvie “Biodiversity Conservation”

Initially planned in June 2020, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress was postponed to January 2021. The event will take place in Marseille, France.

Prior to this manifestation, AllEnvie, together with partner institutions, will hold a conference in Marseille, January 5-7 2021.

During this event, AllEnvi (the national alliance for research on the environment) will gather the scientific community working on key environmental issues in order to collectively discuss crosscutting questions on “Biodiversity Conservation”.

Four different sessions will take place:

  • – Biodiversity Conservation Strategies through an evolutionary lense
  • – Diversity of anthropisation types and their impacts on conservation
  • – Interactions and feedbacks between climate and biodiversity
  • – Ethical and legal issues in conservation

In addition, Serge Morand will hold a conference on “Biodiversity Conservation and Human Health”.

The AllEnvi days will end on January 7th with an interactive session where participants will discuss governance issues and the role science will play in biodiversity conservation in a post-covid world.

A detailed program will soon be available. Registration for the event are opened. Please, don’t hesitate to share this post with anyone who might be interested in joining the AllEnvi conferences.
